.H O U K A. Silver paws brushed the surface of the earth, with each step, engravings were created, which suggested the owner was dragging their feet. Which of course, that animal was. The wolf hung his head fairly low, with audits pinned back over the back. His banner was no different to his head, it was low, and droopy. Like his paws, dragging along the floor. Overall, this male was feeling pretty low.
But this was Houka. He always felt low. In a more accurate tone, paranoid. He suffered from it. These feelings sometimes came out in random bursts, like bursts of light. There wasn't anything he could do about it, it was just how life directed him.
This forces people to believe that he's somewhat of a freak. He also hasn't really got any social skills, which leaves him with the image of a loner. You can't help but feel sympathy for the guy. Nevertheless, he continues with his life, as he's doing so now.
There really is no specific reason on why the male was in the Neutral Lands that day. He didn't truly know. Maybe he wanted a change from the lands of Awai? Or maybe he hoped with everything that he could muster, that he might be able to find a friend...
For once in his depressing life.

-Exerci- The Angel Icy white coat shimmered in the light, rippling over her muscles as she moved. It was as light as the Awai's soul itself, but the ebony stripes that cut through the fae's pelt almost described the trauma she'd gone through in life. The Awai had left the lands she reguarded as home for the day - seeking out an area where no harm could come to her, a place where even the Kuros were made to abide by the rules. This place was the Neutral Lands - but little did she know the wolf she would become aquainted with on that day was a fellow Awai.
Long limbs let the femme easily traverse the land, unhindered by any object that lay in her path. She kept at a steady pace, her head low as she followed a set of tracks toward their source. It looked like whoever they belonged to was dragging their feet - either they were injured or they were feeling a little down. Either way, Exerci followed. Large white paws made no noise on impact as she loped toward the source.
As she neared the owner of the tracks, she inhaled deeply, and caught the strong scent of the Awai, silver-blue optics peering at the steel-blue male. He seemed very low, and the tall femme padded out her head cocked to the side slightly out of curiosity. "Erm, hello" She said quietly, not really wanting to disturb him. "Are you alright?" She questioned, genuinly worried about the Awai male. She hadn't been properly introduced to the Pack yet, so she didn't really know who he was. "I'm Exerci, what's your name?" She inquired, her long limbs taking her to his side. Her hinds folding, she lowered herself onto her haunches and sat, her weight shifting further until she flopped down, showing she posed no threat. Gazing up at the male with large, blue eyes, Exerci waited, peering into his own pools as if searching for the answers she had asked for. [/size]

.H O U K A. Houka raised his head, only slightly though, so his spine was more or less horizontal. Turning, the steel-blue male flicked his audits in the direction of the proceeding sound. It seemed that the owner of the voice belonged to a seemingly beautiful female. Her ivory pelt contrasted perfectly with the ebon stripes dripping down her sides.
Houka's misty blue eyes met her bright amber ones. He didn't know what to say. He was afraid to say anything. She seemed very unwilling to cause any trouble, she'd lain down her bulk before him, asking of his name.
This is when the paranoia kicked in. What if this fem was in alliance with his dad? What if she was sent to look out for him via his father's orders? Questions of worry and negativity clouded the Timber wolf's mind. Instead of replying to harmless Exerci, Houka merely stared at her. Wide eyed in needless fear.

Still stretched out beneath the steel-blue mann, her own silver-blue eyes still trying to figure out the answers to her questions, although the softness in her gaze was a sure sign she didn't want the gesture to be thought of as a challenge. Back limbs splayed out behind her, she averted her gaze to look into the distance, afraid she was making this male nervous.
It wasn't long before she could almost smell the fear that radiated from the male's body. She was slightly confused at how he could fear her, but she knew the possibility was there - afterall, she was larger than most wolves she'd met. She noted how he was staring, and instead of making a fuss using words, she gently nudged him on the shoulder to try and snap him out of it.
"You're an Awai wolf, right?" She asked quietly, before continuing with "I am too." To try and reassure him she wasn't in league with the Kuro wolves, personally she couldn't imagine anything worse.

.H O U K A. Houka flinched at the female's touch. The jolt in his mind had brought him back to the present, he shook the last of the frightened queeries from his mind before catching the next spill of dialogue from Exerci's maw. It seemed that she too was of Awai connections, and she obviously had nothing to do with the Kuro's. She was of no threat. At least, that's what Houka hoped... He prayed to goddess Awai that she was telling no false remarks and went ahead to answer her question.
"Y-Yes..."
[/b] He forced the words out, the quiet tone being intentional. Who knew if any Kuro's where nearby... It wasn't much of a statement, but the message was loud and clear. He too belonged to the Awai pack. Houka blinked once. His steel-blue optics vanishing before reappearing once again, all in a matter of seconds. He then looked around at his surroundings, taking extra care not to let his guard down, before checking for any signs of danger. Noting the isolation, he then slowly lowered his bulk, before it met with the ground and he then relaxed his muscles. Houka still kept a fixed gaze on Exerci, who was still laying before him. "Y-Yes..." A gentle smile coursed it's way over the female's jaws, trying again to reassure her fellow Awai that she spoke the truth. There was no way on this earth she could ally herself to those retched beasts of Kuro. The very thought made her stomach churn. Who could ever think that by destroying the world around them, dominating those who didn't share such beliefs, was the way to win peoples hearts. But, it obviuosly had potential because Awai wolves were few and far between.
It seemed that this male, who had yet to reveal his name, was on edge about something. Maybe it was the possibility that any amount of Kuros could be lurking in the trees around them. But that didn't bother Exerci. The law of this land was that no harm was to come to any of the wolves who were within it's boundaries - meaning that not even the Kuros could be exempt from it.
She watched as he lowered himself, hoping he could feel the confidence that radiated from her own form to change his opinion of their location. A slight yawn escaping from her jaws, the bi-hued female asked again; "So, what's your name?" They were allies, comrades, there was no reason he shouldn't reveal his name now. But she understood that he may not, he seemed paranoid about something - and although it wasn't really something she should set her heart on finding out about, curiosity was growing about how highly stringed he seemed about the situation. .H O U K A. Houka stared further more at Exerci. His silver-blue optics pulsing with an almost psychotic glint. His silver fur ruffled in the cool, morning breeze, reflecting the sun's rays. The colossal ball of flame had just began to peak over the horizon of emerald trees. A few birds ate up the sky with their dark-coloured bodies, calling to eachother in a series of high pitched chirps. Overall, quite a beautiful, crisp morning.
Unfortunately, the young male hadn't taken these facts into accord. He was too shaken today. Not that it was much different to his normal state... His breathing was quite irregular and wobbly. The poor thing was in one of those stages. Where words don't come to one. To put it more bluntly, he was overcome by fear. But he'd already spoken once, he could easily do so again. With as much force as it would take Houka to take down a Caribou, the wolf coughed out the answer to the tora-ge pelted female.
"I'm H-Houka."
After the difficult task of producing his own name, Houka decided to ask of the fem's alias. But not in words, in body language. Quite simply, the male flicked his silver banner and blinked twice at the female. A clear expression telling her a simple thing. And you?

Lifting her cranium, Exerci's silver-blue gaze met with the sky. The sun's rays were spilling into the overhead abyss, tainting what was a pale blue many different shades of pink and purple. A weak smile crossing her jaws before the tora-ge winced as the sunlight burnt into her optics. Turning her head away from the flaming orb, a painful stinging continued in her head. Cursing at herself for such stupidity, the petite-framed fae turned to the Awai male in hopes that the stinging would just go away.
"I'm H-Houka."
Nodding, she watched as Houka flicked his brush and blinked at her. Exerci shook her mane, ridding it of dirt that had collected within the long, feathery locks before responding with "I'm Exerci" Smiling, she tried, again, to reassure Houka that she didn't mean him any harm. Although she knew that he seemed very nervous around her, and was possibly fearful of other wolves, she refused to jump to conclusions. So instead, she simply asked "It's a lovely day, don't you think?" As Houka didn't necessarily have to respond verbally to that question. Shaking her head, she tried to rid of herself of the brish blue flashes that remained in her sight even when she closed her eyes. She hoped it didn't look too bizarre, but she couldn't help it.
OOC: omg that was awfull sorry =[ [/blockquote]

.H O U K A. ((No way, mine is. o.o))
Houka shifted his weight. He was slightly uncomfortable here, seeing as this was a land in which any pack member could come. Thus meaning the Kuro's. The silver male twitched nervously, but quickly tried to push all the thoughts away. He didn't want to seem like a coward in front of Exerci. She seemed... Special.
He then caught her statement in less than a second from when it was spoken. She asked of the day. The beauty of it to be more precise. Houka hadn't really noticed, he raised his head to allow steel-blue optics to study the sky. To his surprise, he discovered how pretty it really was. In his eyes, it was something new. He'd never concentrated on something like that before, until now. He lowered his head and nodded in answer to her question. He then tried to give Exerci the best smile he could give her. A bit twitchy, but it was a good start.
