[May all challenges to her rule be welcomed..][..For Miss Ember is here]
Sunlight blazed down upon Kidva that day, not a cloud broke the perfection of the bright blue sky. The heat was unbelievable, and unbearable for those who adorned a dark-hued pelt. That was exactly how Ember felt, her gold-green eyes rolled up to glare at the blazing orb that was the sun, her lips pulled back in a grimace that could only be induced by discomfort. However, she did not complain. Where she'd come from she'd put up with much worse although she couldn't help but hate her ebony peltage on days like this one.
Paws beat a steady rythem as she tried her best to keep within the treeline, avoiding the sunlight as much as sod's law would permit. She was merely a fleeting shadow within the trees. There was one thing Ember had noted on her entry into the Nami lands, and that was that there was no scents to keep intruders, like herself, out. No good Leader would leave their lands open to other wolves, not unless they thought that verbally produced boundaries kept other wolves out. She pondered the fact that, perhaps, there was no leader here yet. If so, this may be Miss Ember's chance to shine. As she neared the Eastern border, her stride soon reduced in size and the Seductress was then still with her nose lifted to the air. Yes, there were others here - but none of them seemed to have marked the boundaries.
Clicking her teeth, Ember began the task of marking out the lands. If she came up against some oppostion she would glady oblige in whatever way they decided to clear up the situation - if they wanted a fight, they'd get it. For Ember wasn't one to just submit to anyone. No, the bitch liked getting her own way and only felt the need to submit to someone if she felt the deserved her respect. Gold-flecked mane was tussled as a brief wind drifted through the clearing and she enjoyed the moment - letting the breeze cool her form. Starting off toward what she assumed was the den site, a sharp bark addressed those that inhabitted the Nami lands. Ember was easy-going enough, as long as she could have her way.
Coming to a halt on a small hill, snake-like eyes drifted over the assortment of holes that were the pack's dens. A long, feminine-sounding howl rolled from her throat as the ebony-hued fae bayed. Once finished, Ember seated herself atop the mound of earth, proudly looking down on what was now hers. [/blockquote]

((Mind if I join?))
Shila heard the howl and bounded up the hill to meet the new comer. She tilted her head. Then wagged her banner in greetings. She had been sleeping. But she wide awake. This wolf looked friendly. But she didn't know for sure. "Hi" She dipped her head respect to the wolf. She sniffed and noticed that the new wolf was female just like her. Her hazel eyes looked up at the wolf. And she waited for the response of the other wolf.
